The Signal Cartel Curator's office in Theology Council Tribunal in Zoohen was quiet and yellow-Amarr-like luminous. Archaeological finds of all kinds were stored in carefully arranged glass display windows. [https://evewho.com/character/94500439 @Jen Hoshi]  was admiring a peculiar knife-shaped artifact, probably belonging to the Amash-Akura period, when the doorbell rang.
Broken metallic asteroid.
"Oh Strelnikova, my friend! Please make yourself comfortable and take a seat. I have an urgent matter that… requires your attention".
"I noticed that Signal Cartel’s archive lacks information about G5ED-Y and its Caldari State operations. I know, I know... Vale of the Silent is a nasty place for a peaceful explorer to roam into… but I think your clearance with Anoikis Division and contact in Thera System will grant you many ways to find that place and report back your findings".
"Good hunting!"

“After a nice chat in AD with [https://evewho.com/character/95939368 @pris Naari]  and [https://evewho.com/character/167898689 @Tamayo] about Roman Villae and Japanese food, I’m heading to G5ED-Y. Three filaments took me to Thera. A fine drink with [https://evewho.com/character/2117177058 @Amulius Orientis] after a mapping session and off we go.”
“My target lies 12 jumps away. All NS systems: Charlie’s territory”.
“Here I am, cloaked and 3 safe points mapped, nasty people around. A hunter lost behind and some locals running things, no bubbles. Right time to start my work here”.

Broken cloven red asteroid.
“A nice way back to Thera. Another shot with [https://evewho.com/character/2117177058 @Amulius Orientis.] Going to Jita now. I need the sound of greedy and questionable merchants, I need red wine, I need to sell loot and burn ISKs. Those skill injectors are juicy…But my man [https://evewho.com/character/167898689 @Tamayo] has always better prices…maybe it’s just time to head back to Anoikis!?”

October 13 YC125 – Report: 01:
[[File:Knaaninn Aranuri.png|500px]]
The site is vast, first thing you see is a massive 3x3 Particle Acceleration Superstructures all burned by some kind of explosion. Second thing you notice two towering rocks, a metallic and a cloven red, splatted in multiple pieces. Probably damaged by the up mentioned explosion. Lines of Zaibatsu tactical outpost and two lookout posts, dating to Gallente-Caldari war, lies like past monuments.
Three Raven-class battleship and five Merlin-class frigates threateningly patrol the site.
Center, near beacon: A Shiny Caracal, pilot tag: Tomi Hakiro, rank: first sergeant (Shateigashira in Zaibatsu slang). Probably the boss in this part of New Eden.
But someone  is careful looking over the site from respectful distance. No cloak on (unlike me doing my job). A bad, bad Rattlesnake-class Battleship. Scary thing. A skull with rabbit-hears. Flark! … Guristas boy. Pilot tag: Knaaninn Aranuri, security. Certanly those tubes are filled with hugs!
Suggestion: both these guys are friendly and eager to offer a job for a nice price but only for those capsuleers that earned respect from their faction (Hakiro: Caldari State level 4 - Aranuri: Guristas Pirates level 4 - both are COSMOS agent).
End of report. Comrade Researcher Strelnikova
Site classification:
Old trench outpost. Out of sight. Maybe an exchange point or a proper Caldari-Guristas covop negotiation site.

Lookout Posts.

The Caldari State have found something significant in G5ED-Y. The State military has set up a huge base of operations in that system, and its presence there is thick as sour milk. The Guristas on the other hand are extremely curious as to what their arch nemesis has discovered, and have set up many bases in the surrounding systems to oversee reconnaissance missions into G5ED-Y. A division from the Serpentis has also been sent to the constellation on behalf of the Smuggler Cartel, led by the infamous Black Jack.

This site is a COSMOS site, and agents are available if you have the proper standing with the Caldari State and Guristas Pirates.

TripTik030 Expedition Highlights

A cosmos agent site deep in Null. What is their purpose here?

Introduction

  • System: G5ED-Y
  • Security: -0.3
  • Constellation: E-8CSQ
  • Region: Vale of the Silent

Locations

This site is vast, the first thing you will see is a massive 3x3 particle acceleration superstructure that is all burnt up by some explosion. The second thing you notice are two towering rocks, a metallic one and a cloven red one, split in multiple pieces probably damaged by the before-mentioned explosion. Lines of Zaibatsu tactical outpost and two lookout posts, dating to the Gallente-Caldari war, lay there like a past monument. Three Raven-class battleships and five Merlin-class frigates threateningly patrol the site.
At the center of the site, you will find Tomi Hakiro, rank: First Sergeant (Shateigashira in Zaibatsu slang), and probably the boss in this part of New Eden. Upon further investigation from a distance, there is a threatening Rattlesnake-class Battleship that has a skull with rabbit ears. Guristas Pilot tag: Knaaninn Aranuri, security. Certainly, those tubes are filled with hugs! These guys are friendly and willing to offer a job to capsuleers who have earned respect from their faction (Hakiro: Caldari State level 4 - Aranuri: Guristas Pirates level 4 - are COSMOS agents).
