TripTik067 Expedition Highlights
Introduction
A memorial honoring the innocents who perished on May 15th YC110, when a Gallente Admiral rammed his Nyx-class supercarrier into the Malkalen Economic Summit, killing over 421,000 people.
Locations
- Malkalen
In May YC110, Caldari and Gallente representatives attended the Malkalen Economic Summit at the Ishukone headquarters station above Malkalen V - Moon I in an effort to solidify peaceful relations between the two factions. The summit was horrifically interrupted when Gallente Admiral Alexander Noir rammed his Nyx-class supercarrier FNS Wandering Saint into the station, killing nearly half a million including Ishukone's CEO Otro Gariushi. This brutal terrorist act plunged the Caldari and Gallente into open conflict.
The station has since been repaired thanks to the efforts of the Caldari State and independent capsuleers, and a monument was commissioned to honor those who died on that terrible day.
