Locations
- Kor-Azor Prime Beacon Name: Doriam II Memorial
Amarr Emperor Heideran VII had one of the longest reigns in the Empire's history, and continues to be cherished as a historic diplomat and servant of his people. Under his rule, the Amarr made tenuous peace with the Minmatar and joined CONCORD, which would both have been unthinkable under any other leader. After Heideran's death in YC105, Doriam II ascended to the throne. Like his predecessor, Doriam was a man of peace towards all except the Blood Raiders, who he launched a campaign against that ended with the sect being driven out of the Bleak Lands. He even made it a point to personally visit every planet in the Empire to directly hear local concerns.
Unfortunately, Doriam was assassinated just 2 years into his rule by his own Chamberlain, Dochuta Karsoth, who turned out to have been a Blood Raider himself. Doriam's untimely demise threw the Empire into an interregnum that only ended with the sudden reemergence of Jamyl Sarum.
Doriam's neice, Royal Heir Ersilia Kor-Azor, commissioned this monument in YC123 to honor her uncle.
